April CAS Winners & May CAS Reminder #1




Hi everyone.  I'm back with a reminder that the May CAS Challenge at HLS is Die-cuts and/or Punches. There are lots of great ways to use die-cuts or punches on your cards and we hope you'll play along.

At Happy Little Stampers, CAS  (clean and simple) is defined as:

- one main focal point
- lots of white or open (no pattern) space
- minimal layers
- minimal embellishments


Before we get to the sample cards for this week, I want to again thank everyone that entered the April CAS Stenciling challenge at HLS.  The gallery is full of beautiful and creative cards.  As always, it was a tough job to narrow it down to a few.  Here's the winner and favourites for April. :)

Here are the CAS Die-cuts / Punches cards for this week.


Bonnie - Guest Designer


Intricate die-cut card front exposes a panel made with the Saturated Watercolouring technique.

This card is made with all die-cuts, layered to create a spring garden.  Sponging was added to the sun, clouds, flowers and grass to add shading and dimension.

Simple die cuts with pops of colour make for a quick and easy card

    OMG Loll....ALL your CAS April Stenciling Favorite cards are just amazing! I love how they are all so different, yet beautiful and inspiring CAS designs using different stencililng techniques. Wow!
    Now for your 4 new Die Cut Reminder cards...WOW, Again! I loved all 4. Bonnie's intricate die cut strip with a saturated watercolored BG really pops! Loved all 4 cards. TFS my friend.
