Paper Piecing

Picture

Supplies:
Line stamp (any stamp that is an outline only – not silhouette)
Scraps of patterned paper
Scissors
Ink
Glue
Cardstock

Instructions:
Start by inking your line stamp and stamping onto a piece of cardstock that will be your card front panel.

Picture

Stamp the same image onto as many scraps of patterned paper as you will need to complete your image – three different patterned papers have been used here.

Carefully cut out your patterned paper pieces. It’s not necessary to cut all pieces from the different patterned papers, but it gives lots of choices for which combination works best.

Picture

The top gift has circles stamped onto the patterned paper so a marker was used to color in those circles to create more depth of color.

Glue patterned pieces to the stamped image on your card front panel.

Finish your card as desired.
