HLS May CAS Challenge Reminder #2




Hi everyone.  Back with another reminder of the May CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers.  There are lots of amazing cards in the gallery ... make sure to take a look! :)

At Happy Little Stampers, CAS  (clean and simple) is defined as:

- one main focal point
- lots of white or open (no pattern) space
- minimal layers
- minimal embellishments


Here is the CAS Die-cut cards for this week.

Bonnie - Guest Designer


Background harlequin design is sponged ink over a stencil.  Shaped blossoms using Loll's video instructions, and then doubled the blooms for even more depth.  The stems are cut from DP.

A curved die-cut border was used to create the aperture to show off  the colourful background, which was created on watercolour paper with Brusho crystals and lots of water.  The solid butterfly is cut from the same Brusho panel with a white layer on top.
