Hi everyone. I'm back with a reminder that the June CAS Challenge at HLS is Sprays / Mists. There are lots of great ways to use ink sprays, glimmer sprays, or water misters on your cards and we hope you'll play along.
At Happy Little Stampers, CAS (clean and simple) is defined as:
- one main focal point
- lots of white or open (no pattern) space
- minimal layers
- minimal embellishments
Before we get to the sample cards for this week, I want to again thank all that entered our May Die-Cuts / Punches challenges. We had over 230 entries --- WOW!! So many beautiful cards! Here are the top picks for May.

Here are the CAS Sprayed cards for this week ...
Background was created by pressing distress ink pads onto back of stencil, misting with water, and then placing over top of watercolour paper, mopping up any excess moisture with paper towel (Stencil Monoprint Technique).
Created by sprinkling a small amount of brusho crystal onto my craft mat then spraying with water. The colour was picked up by laying my die cut onto the colour then drying with a heat gun. One colour was done at a time.
More gorgeous samples Loll and Kylie. Kylie, thank you for sharing your description on your multicolored die cut Happy Birthday. So colorful and fun. Loll, your stencil monoprint background is perfect for your stamped image. TFS girls.
