HLS March CAS Challenge

Hi everyone. Welcome to the HLS March CAS Challenge. Last month we had a lot of fun with the Embossing Folder Stamping technique. There were so many wonderful entries --- thanks so much for joining in.

Here's this month's challenge ...

(You don't have to use HLS stamps to play along)

Another fun and easy technique for you to try. There are a few different products you can use to create a pearl resist for the Faux Mother of Pearl look ... the most common being pearl acrylic paint or liquid pearls. The technique is quick to do. Simply scrunch up a piece of cling wrap, dip it into your pearl liquid, blot off excess, and then lightly pounce onto white card stock. Once dry, sponge over top with ink, and then wipe off with a paper towel to reveal the pearl resist underneath. We hope you'll give it a try.

Please remember to keep your cards CAS ...

At Happy Little Stampers, CAS (clean and simple) is defined as
- one main focal point
- lots of open (no pattern) space
- minimal layers
- minimal embellishments

This month we are thrilled to have Anita (My Papercraft World) as our Guest Designer.

Here is our inspiration for you
