May CASE the Designer - Melissa Lane

Well HELLO to May! Wow, time flies doesn't it? The beginning of the month starts a brand new lot of challenges here at Happy Little Stampers. 

This is an exciting month because we are also starting a new challenge on the 9th with a brand new crew of designers. That means we are bringing you FIVE challenges each month to help inspire you. Don't forget there are always plenty of prizes to be won so make sure you enter all our challenges!

Right now, being the 1st of the month, we are kicking off May with our CASE the Designer Challenge. You all really had fun last month! We KNOW you are going to love this month's inspiration by Melissa -

Unfortunately our Designer, Sue T, had to step back from creating at the moment. We will really miss her! 

Please welcome to the CASE team, Rahmat Gouse! Rahmat is an accomplished and talented card maker who uses many techniques on her creations. 

Here is Melissa's beautiful card and details on how she created it -

First, I stenciled the white embossing paste flowers onto the black card stock panel. After the paste was dry, I applied a small amount of red watercolor paint to the blooms. Then I added a water-colored die cut butterfly and attached a white panel behind. I attached the panel to the card front with foam tape and added a heat embossed and popped up sentiment. I used a die from Happy Little Stampers Butterfly Dies and a sentiment fromHLS Thinking of You.
