Hi everyone. Welcome to the HLS September CAS Challenge. Thanks to all that entered last month's Masking a Scene CAS Challenge. The winners will be announced on September 10.
Here's this month's challenge ...
Watercolour Spritz is a really fun and easy technique. There are a number of ways to use the spritz technique.
1. You ink up your stamp with a variety of colours using watercolour markers or small stamp pads, spritz with water and then stamp your image onto watercolour or mixed media paper.
2. Use water based inks on an acrylic block, spritz with water and stamp onto watercolour or mixed media paper.
3. Use Brushos, Gelatos, distress ink, anything that will create a watercolour look once spritzed with water.
Please remember to keep your cards CAS ...
At Happy Little Stampers, CAS (clean and simple) is defined as
- one main focal point
- lots of open (no pattern) space
- minimal layers
- minimal embellishments
Here is our inspiration from the Design Team to help get you started -
