HLS March Watercolour Challenge

Last month our watercolour challenge went to the next level beating out January's number of entries. Let's see if we can lift the bar even higher!

We have also had to make changes to our shipping costs which also affects our discount coupons for our winners - here is a rundown of those changes -

Changes to shipping when purchasing at HLS

As of February 2017, there have been some changes made to the shipping system for international orders. Orders are generally shipped as a 'letter' because of the size and weight of the the stamp sets. This has kept the postage costs to a minimum. Sending goods as a 'letter' meant there is no way to track the item. Unfortunately there have been a number of orders 'lost' in the mail and HLS has happily replaced these orders at no cost to the customer. The time has come where it is not viable to keep doing so. PLUS, HLS is now stocking larger items which makes it hard for the system to correctly calculate the postage costs for actual international parcels.

Hence, the changes to the shipping costs. When you purchase at HLS from now on, there are capped shipping rates. For Australian customers it is $10 but spend over $60 and get free shipping. For New Zealand customers it is $20 but spend over $100 and get free shipping. For the rest of the world it is $25 but spend over $120 and get free shipping.

This also means that I have had to rethink the way that I issue prizes for our wonderful followers. It isn't quite fair that you receive a $15 gift certificate, live in the UK (for example), and have to pay $25 in shipping so your goods can be tracked.
